Emmentaler Center Cuts

Emmentaler is a cheese that is enjoyable worldwide. It is known worldwide for its characteristic eyes (the holes in the cheese), and its nutty, mildly herby taste. The name of this famous cheese comes from the valley of the Emme in the canton of Berne. It has been produced there since the 13th century. It’s delicious in cheese fondue, as a topping for oven-baked dishes or, on bread or nibbled with a drink.
