The firmer, straw color paste envelops the exterior with its earthy, piquant flavor and strong aroma. Great spreadable on bread, for pasta sauce, on pizza, cubed into salads. It pairs well with fresh fruit (figs, pears, apples) or dry fruit, but mainly with jams and marmalade’s, mixed fruit or chestnut or fig mustard, and vegetable sauces (red onion sauce).
